L’OREAL teams up with Bang Packaging for a “REDKEN FOR MEN PROMOTION”
For L’OREAL, it is essential to offer their clients innovative and friendly packaging to promote their product – consistent with each of their brands.
Bang recently worked with L’OREAL Melbourne to produce a luxury gift box designed for their male target market with the objective of promoting their Redken for Men product range.
Once briefed on what L’OREAL was trying to achieve, we suggested an A5 rigid gift box in a lid and base style using 1500 um board, with an all over 130gsm black KASKAD wrap, white lined and a silver foil logo finish.

What was the product used for?

Bang Packaging Tattersall’s solution
Recently Tattersall’s had a problem with their plastic lotto wallets affecting the printed thermal tickets inside them. The tickets were going ‘BLACK’ and after considerable consultation with their suppliers, the problem still existed. Bang to the rescue… after many physical tests, we found that the material used for the wallets was leaching plasticizer, this was after the wallets became too hot (e.g. wallets left in a hot car).
The plasticizer was then transferring onto the tickets causing the blackening of the paper.
Bang solved the problem by changing the material they used to a soft polypropylene formulation giving the wallets a similar feel to the old ones and then offset printed the exterior giving them a high-quality product with a superior finish.
Tattersall’s were extremely happy with the final outcome and this resulted in New Zealand lotteries engaging Bang to solve a similar problem.
